This warm, inviting, bright and accessible space is a perfect for private functions, special events, public lectures, rehearsals, performances and meetings.

The space features large historic windows, regularly changing local art exhibits and a presentation technology suite to meet all your needs.

Established in 1956, the private, non-profit Dundas Museum & Archives preserves, interprets, exhibits, and provides access to the artifacts and archives of the people, families, organizations, and businesses in Dundas and area. The Museum is fully accessible and the galleries are free of charge. Facility rentals support the operation and ongoing development and delivery of programs at the Museum.

To book the space, please contact the Museum at 905.627.7412 or email to rentals@dundasmuseum.ca - indicating the date, time and purpose of your proposed rental.

Hours Of Operation Monday - Closed Tuesday -10am - 4:30pm Wednesday - 10am - 4:30pm Thursday - 10am - 8pm Friday - 10am - 4:30pm Saturday - 1pm - 4pm Sunday - Closed Rentals may be arranged for times outside of the Museum's typical hours of operation.
Rental Policy 1. The rental space will be reserved for the hours indicated in the rental agreement. 2. No food or drink is permitted in the Gallery spaces. Eating and drinking are allowed in the Education Centre and in the Atrium. 3. Setup and clean up must be included in my scheduled rental time. There will be no setup or clean up outside of the times listed in the rental agreement. 4. All garbage, recyclables, and food-related waste is the responsibility of the renter and must be taken away from the Museum at the rental conclusion. 5. The rental space will be returned to the general condition of cleanliness and repairs in which it was found, ensuring no residual food or beverage products. 6. Decorations will only be adhered with painters tape. 7. There will be no smoking, candles, or open flame of any kind on the Museum’s grounds. 8. Use of the Museum’s standard tables and chairs are included in the rental fee. Other kitchenware (china, cutlery, linens) are available at an additional cost and must be arranged beforehand.
Cancellation Policy Cancellations made more than 10 business days in advance of an event will be refunded their entire damage deposit and their booking deposit less 10% for processing. Cancellations made less than 10 business days prior to event will not be refunded (damage deposit will be refunded). The Dundas Historical Society Museum reserves the right to cancel any booking with full refund provided.
